Our telephone number is listed under Colorado Futurescience, and is available from information under area code 719 for the city of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

We understand that there are times when a customer may need to talk to a live person, but there are two reasons that we discourage telephone calls, and do not include the number on our web site.

  • We are a small company, and it's not feasible for us to hire someone specifically to answer the telephone. Most of the time, though, you will get someone who can take phone orders and give you additional information.

  • Most telephone inquiries are about delivery times. Our superconductors are made in a laboratory in Colorado Springs, but final assembly and shipping of kits is done by a physicist in the Denver area who teaches university classes during the day. He does much of his work assembling the kits on evenings and weekends. The most accurate information about kit delivery times is known by him, and he is often not immediately available during the day. We can nearly always get information about delivery times to you within a few hours via email. But, all too often, our response to telephone inquiries about delivery times is "I don't know right now, but I'll get back to you in a few hours." We have a fairly efficient system for getting orders to you a week or two after receipt of the order, but we are not a good company to use for rush orders for superconductor kits.
