The following information was provided by Dr. Dale Darby about his needle phobia treatment using Thought Field Therapy

Dr. Dale Darby, holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and is a Licensed Psychotherapist in the State of Colorado. Dr. Darby has been treating individuals for over 20 years. He has taught at the university level and has provided instruction and training to the clinical staff's at a variety of hospitals and clinics.

Dr. Darby has spent the last several years investigating needle phobia (also known as blood-injection-injury phobia). His formal research has found a treatment approach which appears to be very helpful for phobic individuals. Of those who participated in his study, 80 percent reported some level of benefit in terms of reducing phobic symptoms associated with their fear of needles. 35 percent reported a total removal, or cure of their phobia with no return of phobic symptoms as measured during a one month post-treatment interview.

The following are actual statements made by study participants following Dr. Darby's treatment: From 20 year old female: "It's not like before. It's just a needle." From 55 year old male: "It's no big deal." From 31 year old male: "It doesn't bother me; it's a lot different from just a month ago." From 26 year old female: "More curiosity about it than fear." From 55 year old female: "The treatment has been helpful. I'm no longer fearful."

Dr. Darby has shared his research information with Dr. James Hamilton, the physician who has been the lead researcher in the area of needle phobia. Dr. Hamilton has expressed very positive interest in Dr. Darby's treatment methods. To our knowledge, Dr. Darby is the only researcher world-wide who has developed a specific treatment for this specific phobia.

Dr. Darby is willing to speak with anyone who suffers from this serious condition.
